Post 9 A Title By Choice

I think that "The House of the Scorpion" is a good title for the book, because it describes El Ptraon with some of the characteristics that scorpions have. El Patron was very territorial and intimidating. El Patron wasn't a big man but he was very intimidating, and, "his voice wasn't loud, but there was a quality to it that made Matt shiver even though he-for once-wasn't the one in trouble." He was also very territorial, "once El Patron decides something belongs to him, he never lets it go." For a hundred years he received tons of gold watches, jewels, statues, and moon rocks that people had given him, where he keeps in a secret storeroom under the ground and, "wants to be buried in it."
